NOKIA 6: Specs, Availability And Price


Finnish Tech Giant, Nokia launched Nokia 6 in indian market wayback in June but the smartphone will be available for sale from August 23, HMD Global has confirmed it.Till that time buyers can register their Nokia 6 exclusively via Amazon with great launch offers.

Design

Nokia 6 has it's own feel of classiness and premium looks. It has a unibody metal design made from aluminium with 2.5D glass on the front and matte finish on the back panel. Back panel houses a camera setup above which there is a secondary noise cancellation microphone with the vertical Nokia logo at the centre. On the top , there is a 3.5mm jack. On the right edge it houses the volume rockers and the power button .Bottom end houses the primary microphone, microUSB charging port and stereo speakers. on the left edge , it consist of the dual SIM hybrid slot tray. Overall dimensions of Nokia 6 is 154x75.5x7.85mm and weighs 167g. Nokia 6 looks very premium with such excellent finishing.

Display

Nokia 6 houses a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with the resolution of 1920x1080 pixels(Full HD) at pixel density of 403ppi(Pixel Per Inch) and aspect ratio of 16:9. It comes with 2.5D glass current and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. With 450nits of brightness reading under Sun won't be a challenge.

Camera

Nokia 6 houses a 16MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and dual tone LED flash and comes with aperture of F/2.0. While in the front, it has a 8MP shooter with the same aperture of F/2.0. The autofocus is quick and there is no shutterlag.  Camera of Nokia 6 will not disappoint you but it faces tough competition from Moto G5 plus, LG Q6 and others.

OS And Processor

Nokia 6 runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is powered by a 1.4 GHz  Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which is a quad core processor. Nokia has promised to give monthly security patches and latest Android updates becoming one of the few companies which give you latest updates.

Memory and Battery

Under the hood Nokia 6 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM which is expandable up to 128GB through microSD card. It has a battery capacity of 3000mAh which is not equipped with fast charging. But Nokia 6's battery will easily last a day if you are not a heavy user.

Add-Ons

Nokia 6 supports Near Field Communication (NFC), USB OTG and has a fingerprint sensor on it's home button. Navigation keys on Nokia 6 are backlit which makes it easier to use the device in dark. It has got Dolby Atmos  and stereo speakers which are a great add-on for good sound effect.

Verdict

Nokia 6 has got nice looks, premium build quality , decent specifications and lastly the faith of "Nokia". It is priced at Rs 14999 which truly justifies it's value being a Nokia device.
