Huawei unveiled Mate 10 Lite in Germany, and is available for sale in Europe for €399. Mate 10 Lite is the cheapest of the Mate 10 family. This should pave the way for a wider European rollout in the coming weeks. It is the rebranded model of Huawei Maimang 6 for European markets and everything is same as in Maimang 6.
Mate 10 Lite also has premium design similar to other Mate 10 devices. The Mate 10 Lite houses a 5.9 inch Full HD+ (1080x2160) resolution display with a 18:9 aspect ratio. This gives the Mate 10 Lite the same bezel-less effect as the other Mate 10 devices.
Coming on the cameras the phone’s biggest draw is its four cameras. That’s two dual-camera modules – one on the rear with a 16 MP and 2 MP sensor set-up, and a selfie snapper with a 13 MP main camera and a secondary 2 MP sensor.
The device is powered by Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 659 chipset, backed by 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card) and a 3,340 mAh battery. It also runs Huawei’s custom EMUI over Android Nougat 7.1. It is avalable in three colours named as Aurora Blue, Graphite Black and Prestige Gold.
