Design

The backlit keyboard has evenly spaced keys. The touchpad is spacious as it has a lot of room to move around your finger. On its top right corner you can also find a fingerprint sensor powered by Windows Hello. We liked the fact that there is enough area to rest your palms while typing and there are no accidental clicks from the touchpad while doing so.
Unlike some of the top-tier laptops, the VivoBook S15 has it speakers at the bottom instead at the top. There are placed towards the front on the left and right side. While we don't prefer this as an ideal place for speakers, we did find the stereo audio quality impressive. This comes courtesy Asus' SonicMaster audio technology that has a tuned audio software and hardware combination for a better experience.

Despite being a slim laptop, much of the widely used connectivity options are still present with the VivoBook S15. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C (3.1), USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 1 HDMI and a card reader.

Display

In the display section it has got 15.6inches LED panel with Full HD resolution. Display is bright and is easily visible in direct sunlight. Display is also Anti- glare, so it doesn't reflect in direct sunlight making it comfortable for you to watch your content without any problem. It has very less bezels on the edges named as "NanoEdge" by Asus which is quite impressive to look at it and gives it an 80% screen-to-body ratio. It has good viewing angles at 178 degrees and has a contrast ratio of 700:1. It has many technologies under the display like Asus Tru2life Video technology which helps in bringing crystal clear videos on the display, Asus Splendid Display technology helps in changing the settings of display and also has four modes: Eye care mode, Normal mode, Vivid mode and Manual mode, ultimately making your viewing experience a pleasure.

Processor And Memory

Currently, VivoBook S15 comes in four variants- two variants of 8th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM. And two variants of 8th Gen Intel Core i7 with 8GB and 16GB of RAM. So you get choice in processors and RAM. All other things are same like 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics and 1TB of ROM or storage.
