Nokia 9: Specifications, Pricing And Availability, Everything You Need To Know

In 2017, Nokia was not able to fulfill the expectations of their lovers with their smartphone lineup, it was totally disgusting. They were not able to manage their smartphone's specification with competition. Lets hope they will make a grand come back in 2018 with their Nokia 9.

Design

Rumors suggest that Nokia 9 will feature and all metal unibody with curve on the edges to help in getting good grip of the device. It is expected to come with IP68 water and dust resistance. It can survive up to 1.5 metres deep in water for 30 minutes while dimension of the phone can be 140.9x73x7.5mm.

Display

Nokia 9 is rumoured to have a 5.5inch Quad HD OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio, intending that it could come with very less bezels on the top and bottom. 


Camera

In the camera department, leaked images show dual rear cameras with Carl Zeiss optics, one can be RGB sensor and the other one can be monochrome sensor. On the front also dual camera setup can be seen. So it's clear that Nokia will be sticking to its Bothie feature and bring it on Nokia 9 which lets user to record video or capture photos from both front and rear cameras at the same time. Cameras on Nokia devices launched in 2017 were not at all interesting they were average, let's see if Nokia improve it's cameras in 2018.


OS, Processor And Storage

Many sources claim that Nokia 9 will run on Android Oreo and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Adreno 540 GPU. It will come with 6 GB RAM and will be available in different storage variants of 64GB and 128GB.


Add-ons

It is also expected that Nokia will carry forward it's OZO audio feature which allows 360 degree surround sound recording in Nokia 9, which was first scene in Nokia 8. The fingerprint scanner will be placed  below the camera module, as it is not expected that Nokia is going to bring under screen fingerprint sensor. Battery capacity is expected to be 3,300mAh equipped with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.


Availability

Nokia 9 is rumoured to launch on January 19 2018 with the price tag of $560/€415 for 64GB variant and $635/€470 for 128 GB variant.
